3. When is the Mr. & Miss India International World Pageant held? It is held every year in the month of November and in 2009 it will be taking place in Trinidad &Tobago once again.

4. Do I need to have my airline tickets to participate in the Pageant? Yes, all contestants do need to provide their own airline tickets, their own wardrobe and other competition clothes and costumes, etc.

6. Why is my country not listed on the website? We have listed the countries who have been in contact with us and expressed their desire to take part. However if you contact us with more information, your country will be on.

7. How do I get a Visa from my country to attend the Pageant? You can visit our host country page on this website. If this page does not help you, please feel free to contact us for more information.

8. How do you get winners from different countries? Mr. & Miss India International has specially appointed National Directors to host National Pageants in their respective countries. When these National Pageants are concluded, the winners become Mr. & Miss India International National Title Holders of their country and represent their country at the World Finals to compete for the coveted and most prestigious title of Mr. India International & Miss India International.

9. When is the Deadline for applications? Registration and information on how to become a National Director is always welcomed through the year and for each year. All applications received after this year’s pageant will be considered for next year’s title of Mr. India International & Miss India International. If you want to participate in this year’s pageant you must send us your application bio and photos ASAP.

10. What are the Mr. India International & Miss India International Entrant Criteria? Below are our guidelines to becoming a representative or title holder for the Mr. & Miss India International in your country. Only winners of their National Finals can participate or represent their country at the Mr. & Miss India International World Finals.

11. Mr. & Miss India International Entry Requirements Are:

• You must be a citizen or permanent resident of the country you represent for the past 12 months;
• You must hold a valid passport or be eligible to hold one;
• You must be 16 years old before the 1st of January of this year;
• You must be 29 years old after the 1st of December of this year;
• You must be a natural born female or natural born male;
• You must not be pregnant or have given birth before;
• You must be a person who enjoys traveling;
• You must have good communication skills and enjoy talking to people;
• You must be able to demonstrate a high standard in public speaking;
• You must have a strong commitment in the pursuit of excellence;
• You must be a person of good character, possess charm, poise and personality and be fit and healthy;
• You must be a person who has never been married or is not engaged to be married;
• You must have never been through any ceremony either valid or invalid and whether civil, religious or tribal which is recognized as a marriage ceremony in any part of the world;
• You must be a person who is able to adapt to all people, places, climates, time changes, cultures and religion;
• You don’t have to be an Indian, have or must have ancestral roots in or come from India parenting or background and you can be mixed or off any ethnicity eg. Chinese, White, African, Creole or Latino etc.;
• You must be a person who can carry out, fulfill and understand duties, responsibilities, commitments, rules, guidelines and the role of a title holder;
• You must be a person who has an outgoing, pleasant, bubbly, intelligent and charismatic personality;

What qualities must the winners posses? The Mr. & Miss India International title holders are persons who possess unique physical beauty. He and she must enjoy keeping fit and living a healthy lifestyle. He and she must be motivated and driven to succeed and their ambition is tempered by a desire to help others whilst setting high standards as a role model in honesty and integrity. He and she must be hard working, self motivated, reliable and efficient, not only as an individual but as a role model to millions around the world. He and she must be someone who has a sense of responsibility and is committed to our goals with a desire to work with others to get the desired results.

When Each Mr. & Miss India International pays their entry fee, he and she gets the following items:

• You will get a customized Mr. or Miss India International Sash bearing your country's name e.g. Mr. India International / USA or Miss India International / Australia.
• You will become the only official representative of your country at the World Finals.
• You will get our Official Mr. & Miss India International T-Shirt
• You will get three meals daily, hotel accommodation and ground transport, an outfit for our opening dance number with all the finalists and be included in all Tours in the host country for the duration of the pageant such as our training, tours, rehearsals, preliminary judging contests and official pre-pageant events as well as on coronation night.

We are the most professionally run pageant for male and female Indian nationals and non nationals in the world. We are the only event of its kind. The Mr. & Miss India International is undoubtedly the most prestigious and most glamorous, making us the most established pageant organization in the world.

Our screening process or Preliminary Round of National Competitions takes place around the world from January 1st to December 31st each year. The Mr. & Miss India International is held annually in November and runs for seven days at various venues in the Host country. Each year on or before the Coronation Night, we announce the host country for the next year's Mr. & Miss India International Pageant.

The Pre-judging rounds for all the Mr. & Miss India International Finalists takes place during the seven days of fun-filled pre-pageant activities held throughout the Host country.

The Charity Ball: All participants are required to bring an Exquisite Gift from his and her country. This will be put on auction at our Grand Costume Ball and Fashion Show featuring the best designers from around the world, as all the Mr. & Miss India International finalists put on the show of a lifetime. The funds raised from this event goes to the Mr. & Miss India International Official Cause.

How can I participate? You can participate by submitting your Bio data information, fill in an application form and send professional photos before your deadline. Mr. & Miss India International Organization must receive all the requested information before our due deadline date. Please let it be your first priority to get your professional photos and send them to us ASAP by email first and then you can send them by FedEx or any other postal services as soon as you can, but the earlier the better.

What do I do and wear for all the Different Categories? Sports Wear and Mr. India’s Sports Wear can be anything that best represent the favorite casuals of your culture and your personal tastes. It must also reflect your personality, sense of fashion style, an originally designed outfit or one which reflects your country’s style.

Talent: Your talent can be any item that you can perform exceptionally well e.g. a monologue, an instrumental item, a dramatic piece, a dance, singing, lip-sync, telling a story or a creative talent.

National Costume: This can be an Indian Wear or anything that best represents the Indian culture of your country. It also can be of national or significant importance to the people in your country.

Indian Wear: Your Indian Wear can be anything that best represents the Indian culture of your country. It must also reflect your personality, sense of fashion, style, an originally designed outfit or one which reflects your country’s style in Indian wear.

Elegant Suits / Evening Gown: Your Evening Gown or Elegant Suit must reflect your personality, sense of fashion, style, an originally designed outfit or one which reflects your country’s style.

Gift for auction: This Gift can be anything that represents Indian culture in your country. It can also reflect your country’s Indian Communities, National Monuments, representation of your country’s history, places of national and significant interest or religious and traditional value. A description of your Gift for Auction must accompany your item to pageant officials.

What arrangements are made for National Directors who would like to attend the event? All National Directors attending the Mr. & Miss India International World Finals Competition can purchase a VIP pass in the event you are attending. At  the pageant your VIP pass gets you to stay at the official host hotel and it will include your Accommodation, ground transfers, airport pick up and drop off, all tickets for pre pageant events and coronation night and three local meals per day. If you are interested in this just let us know.

What kind of photos and how much is needed from the contestants? Your photos must be professional and reach us on time so that your photos may be included in all of our advertising such as flyers, posters, newspaper ads, television ads and advertising on the internet. At least 10 professional face, full length and modeling shots must be included. Please let it be your first priority to get your professional photos and send them to us ASAP by email first and then you can send them by FedEx or any other postal services as soon as you can, but the earlier the better.

How do I get an Application form? You can fill in the registration form information requested. It must be accompanied with your bio data and all the additional information about yourself. On responding to our application we will inform you if your application form is complete and accepted. All applications must be accompanied by your photos.

What Travelling information do you need? We need to get from you the following information when you are traveling: The day, date, time and the Amount of luggage you are expected to bring, your flight number, time of arrival, number of accompanying persons and the final destination you will be coming to.

Who can participate? The criteria to enter is clearly listed above. However if you live anywhere on this planet you can participate. You can be from the Indian Diaspora, a non-residential Indian (NRI) or an Indian living abroad. You can be the child of Indians living outside India or just an Indian man or woman who has a passion for Indian culture, fashions and traditions. So if you meet the criteria then you can apply to participate in this year’s Mr. & Miss India International pageant.

Why is there a Mr. & Miss India International Pageant? We present the only forum which brings together Indian men and women from around the world, as they celebrate their talent, beauty and display their country’s influences to the rest of the world. This rich Indian heritage is showcased on the internet and on television worldwide.

Can I represent any country? You must be a citizen or living in the country you are representing, single, never married, and able to compete in all five categories of this year's pageant. These categories are listed below.

What do I do if I would like to host a national or state pageant? You can become a national director or host a pageant in your country or state. First you must send us a detailed resume, make sure that your experience and qualifications in the pageant industry is included. On receiving this information, we will contact you immediately.

How do I become a national director to host a pageant in my country? We are now inviting individuals to be screened at large and to become one of our many capable and distinguished individuals, groups or organizations as part of our team and as the only officially appointed national director or licensed franchise holder in your country for the Mr. & Miss India International pageant.
